Context:
Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. They help people directly out of homelessness and campaign for the changes needed to solve it altogether. The charity offers year-round education, employment, housing and well-being services from centres as well as support services to 4,600 homeless people over the Christmas period.
Brief:
The team needed a range of campaign, brand marketing and visual identity materials which would clearly communicate their campaign goals, stand out on socials and encourage audiences to become supporters and donate funds.
Role :
As a Mid-Weight Graphic Designer, I worked within the brand marketing directorate to translate briefs into high-quality creative materials which engaged audiences. I developed illustrative iconography assets to communicate Crisis’ Housing First initiative to service users, helping them to understand and access available support. I also delivered campaign materials for the Tenancy Deposit Scheme guidance, which communicated important rights for tenants in the private rental sector. This involved translating information into engaging, accessible communications for Crisis members and supporters in print publications and digital formats for social platforms. Designs were also translated into materials that could be displayed in centres to communicate updates regionally.
Result:
The marketing campaign materials supported the organisation's strategy to deliver impactful results across a range of audiences. Collaborating with stakeholders and marketing colleagues to discuss project brief requirements and deliver communications materials to regional teams, these projects successfully engaged audiences, drove donations and generated brand awareness for the Charity.
